Clear Aligner Therapy

What Is Clear Aligner Therapy?

Clear aligner therapy straightens your teeth using a series of custom, removable trays. At D1 Dentistry on Main in Lansdale, Dr. Wollach designs every aligner case digitally, so you can see your projected results before treatment even begins. No metal wires. No brackets. Just a discreet path to a straighter, healthier smile.

Virtually Invisible

Smooth, clear aligner trays fit snugly over your teeth. Most people won't even notice you're wearing them.

Take aligners out to eat, drink, brush, and floss. No dietary restrictions and no lifestyle disruption.

Faster Than Braces

Many patients complete clear aligner treatment in 12 to 18 months, often faster than traditional metal braces.

Why Choose D1 for Clear Aligners?

Dr. Wollach evaluates both the aesthetic and functional side of your bite. Clear aligners at D1 aren’t just about straight teeth. They’re about a better-functioning, longer-lasting smile overall.

Our Aligner Philosophy

Straighter teeth are easier to clean, less prone to wear, and better for your jaw long-term. We approach every aligner case with both aesthetics and function in mind, because a great smile has to work as well as it looks.

Clear Aligner Therapy FAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions

You wear a series of custom trays, each slightly different from the last. Each set shifts your teeth incrementally toward their ideal position. You'll swap to a new tray every one to two weeks and check in with Dr. Wollach periodically to track progress.

For optimal results, aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day. You only remove them to eat, drink anything other than water, and to brush and floss. Consistency is critical. Wearing them less than recommended will extend your treatment timeline.

Clear aligners work well for mild to moderate crowding, spacing, and many bite issues. During your consultation, Dr. Wollach will review your case and tell you honestly whether clear aligners are the right fit or if another approach would serve you better.

Most patients notice a very slight adjustment period of a day or two as they get used to speaking with the trays in. This passes quickly for the vast majority of patients and does not cause lasting speech changes.
